It all started with lunch
As a chemical engineer, I can’t help but look to streamline and optimise everything I do. From my morning coffee cup to how I prepare my meals and just about everything in between.
This is how Franklin Lade came into being. When I started bringing homecooked lunches to work, I quickly became frustrated with leaky seals, tricky clip-on lids, and a cupboard full of yellowing containers.
So, I set about designing food containers that simply do things better. Something versatile and 100% leakproof to avoid an anxious commute. I worked with product modellers and manufacturers and developed a passion for engineering products that function better!
Thanks to the remarkable technical and non-toxic properties of borosilicate glass, we designed the perfect solution.
Elegant, durable food containers that can go from freezer to oven and much more.
